What Is It?
Radiation is transfer of heat through invisible waves. There are two main types of radiation. These include ionizing and non-ionizing. Ionizing is capable of breaking apart atoms, and knocking out electrons, and create ions. Non-ionizing radiation cannot do this. Both types of radiation can be harmful to organisms, and change or shift the environment. Every hot object produces some radiant energy (even humans).
